RTE Investigates - Father Molloy

This project was made at OneMILE Studio for an RTE Investigates documentary about the death of Father Molloy. While also being a very interesting subject matter, I had an opportunity to one-up myself from the last RTE Investigates I worked on in terms of quality. The brief needed a compelling way to convey court transcripts and documents, so I settled on a stylized courtroom with text appearing where each person would be. For the documents I went with a slide projector style to tie everything together. I still wanted to show these as more “Graphics” rather than something realistic, so the 3D courtroom was rendered as a few 2D layers, and then an additional 3D camera moved around them to give a layered effect.
